If you don't already own this movie, then at least check it out as a rental!

Clockers is a term for low-end drug dealers.

A murder occurs. The police make an arrest. But did they arrest the right person? Do they care? Does anyone care?

Before the movie is over, you will care.

The opening sequence of this movie (while the credits are rolling) displays actual photographs of young Afro-Americans who have fallen victim to violence in the city streets. Reportedly, at some theaters, audience members have left the theater at this point. It is well worth staying to view the entire movie. The movie is very provacative. CLOCKERS will have you thinking about drugs, crime, violence, kids, and more by the time you leave the theater. Whatever your opinion, this movie will force you to examine it.

The movie was directed by Spike Lee, based upon the book of the same name, by Richard Price. Stars include Harvey Keitel, John Turturro, Delroy Lindo, and Mekhi Phifer.
